Caffeinated Comics Company is an espresso bar nestled into a modern, slick, comfortable comic book store.  Stepping into Caffeinated Comics is like entering a comic book itself.  With its bright colors and rocket ship lighting, the store’s decor captures cosmic aura of a space traveling superhero.

Come to our sunny location at Mission and Valencia, select your comics, and enjoy a full array of coffees, espresso drinks, teas, and juices while sitting at one of our tables. Or nosh on one of our delicious pastries.  Spend time reading your newest acquisitions or converse with other fan boys and fan girls over the finer points of the multiverse or the Dark Reign of the Green Goblin. Please be aware that Caffeinated Comics is a neutral zone. Whether you are a superhero, villain, or common citizen, you will receive the same fast and friendly service.  No fighting is allowed.

Caffeinated Comics carries current issue comics from the major publishers like Marvel, DC, Image, and Dark Horse as well as many of the smaller independent publishers.  In addition to the comics, Caffeinated Comics has a selection of action toys and graphic novels large enough to suit anyone’s taste.

We purchase our coffee from Four Barrel Coffees.  Four Barrel is one of San Francisco’s newest coffee roasters and was founded by Jeremy Tooker (formerly of Stumptown Coffee fame in Portland, Oregon).  Using only Four Barrel Coffees allows us to brew a complex and rich coffee like no other in the City.  Our espresso drinks are pulled and served fresh whether you are looking to sit back and relax or take it to go.

Caffeinated Comics Company is the inspiration of David Pinch.  Pinch practiced law for 22 years before deciding to make a life-style change where he could follow his passions and leave behind the greed and opportunism of the law.  To assist him in bringing his concept to life he offer thanks to Ceci Merino of Ceci Productions who helped create the store’s design and Shell Thomas of Cane Consulting for making sure that the espresso bar is able to satisfy coffee hipsters regardless of their comic passions.
